Wow, okay, first thing, I cannot believe how old Walt is. Geez. I mean… I know he grew up in real life and everything, but um… wow. I kind of hope they bring him back, considering all that stuff they had about him with the bird dying and whatever… I actually don’t really remember what his deal was. All I remember is that I made Hogwarts jokes about him. I don’t know. Anyway, let’s bring him back now that he can actually act.
I’m sad the Fringe guy got shot. I guess the actor has other things to do, but I was hoping for some crossover references. (Not that I would recognize them because I haven’t been watching Fringe, but someone else could have told me what they were.)
I don’t care what people say, I have a soft spot for Jack even when he acts like a complete idiot. I really liked his interaction with Locke for some reason. I think Matthew Fox does “incredulous” very well and I’m not sick of it yet.
Ben Linus is a slimy little sleazebag. And I like Charles Widmore, but I don’t know if that’s going to backfire or not. I don’t know what their deal is, but at this point I believe Widmore.
I was grossed out by the scene where Ben strangled Locke mainly because of the noises. I don’t know which of them I dislike more, so I don’t have feelings one way or another on him dying… plus I know he comes back to life on the island anyway, so the emotional punch wasn’t there. But I guess Ben didn’t know that was going to happen.
Overall opinion of this episode: blah. Probably because I don’t like Locke.
I just looked at IMDB and the second to last episode this season (airing in April sometime) is called “Some Like it Hoth.” I find this hilarious. I love you Lost writers.

I hope they bring Walt back…but I keep thinking we’ll get the kids in season 6 Ji Yeon, Aaron, and Walt come back with a vengeance.
I agree with you on Jack. I guess I like Locke better than I used to, but not that much. My favorite Locke quote is still “I was wrong.” I am thinking that Ben and Widmore are both bad. This episode made a more positive case for Widmore…but remember how he treated Des? And that he sent Keamy to kill them all? And Ben killing Locke grossed me out…but I don’t really think Ben believes he’ll stay dead. He knows what the island can do if it wants to.
Have you ever listened to the Official Lost Podcasts? They reveal barely anything, but listening to Damon and Carlton is entertainment in itself.

I love Damon and Carlton. They are hilarious.
And you’re right about how Widmore treated Desmond and if it ever comes down to it I would pick Desmond, Penny and little Charlie over everybody else on this show. I mean… if everyone dies but them, I will be fine. That sounds harsh. Whatever, they’re fictional characters.
